We're Rick and Holly, the husband-and-wife team behind CKG Tote Co., right here in Minot. Rick is a retired firefighter who works for the railroad, and together we saw a need in our community and decided to fill a niche. We know firsthand that moving can be challenging, collecting boxes, packing, moving, unpacking, and then figuring out what to do with all those broken-down boxes takes time and energy. On our own last move, reusable totes gave us a better solution. We've also helped family members move and lent totes to them, as well as used them for office relocations. The more we used them, the more we realized how much easier moving can be with the right containers.
That's where CKG Tote Co. began. CKG Plus, LLC has a deeper meaning for our family, it's named after our three nephews and represents something we hope to build that is both useful to our community and meaningful to our family. We want to make moving a little easier, a little more organized, and a lot less dependent on cardboard. You have the totes for the full 14-day (two-week) rental period.
Yes — extensions are available after your initial 14-day period: $20/week for CKG Compact, $40/week for CKG Twenty, $60/week for CKG Signature, or $80/week for CKG Grande. A Heavy-Duty Hand Truck extension is $40/week on its own, or $20/week when added to a tote package.
Yes — cleaned, sanitized, inspected and ready for your move, every time.
Normal wear and tear is on us. If a tote, cart, or hand truck is lost or damaged, replacement costs are $10 per tote, $40 per cart, and $150 per hand truck.
Yes! Our standard service area includes Minot, Surrey, Burlington, Minot AFB and surrounding areas within approximately 20 miles of Minot. If you're outside that area, message us your address and we'll provide a custom delivery quote.
Cancel any time before delivery for a full refund. Once the totes have been delivered, the rental fee for the booked period is non-refundable.
